At the Świebodzki Railway Station a new place for art and design was created – Station Design. Inside the old, nineteeth century interior collections of generations are stored – art pieces and industrial design objects, made by well known artists from Wrocław. You can find there paintings, graphics, artistic and functional ceramics, glass, and furniture.
We can mention here especially: painting – Andrzej Klimaczak-Dobrzaniecki, Marian Wołczuk, Mariusz Mikołajek, Witold Liszkowski; glass – Kazimierz Pawlak; ceramics – Anna Malicka-Zamorska; graphics – Przemysław Tyszkiewicz; drawing – Michael Hrisulidis. There are also youth representing Wrocław: Anna Specylak-Skrzypecka and Magdalena Gazur – designers in china; Pati Dubiel – forms of glass; as well as glass artist Sebastian Pietkiewicz cooperating with Huta Julia. New design also features the famous Polish Table – Karolina factory’s, Julia glasswork’s and Bolesławiec manufcture’s joint projects. Important part od Station Design is china made by Ćmielów manufacture, represented by Marek Cecuła Modus Design studio, and projects by Viola brand. Come and also see award-winning projects (must have Łódź, Award and Design Award 2016 at the Maison Object in Paris) by Swallow’s Tail Furniture, stars of Polish design designed by Oskar Zięta, and design classics from the 50s and 60s, like Chierowski chair.
